Activating the Adaptive Mobile Experience can greatly improve acceptance rates among mobile users, thanks to a banner that closely resembles the native OS interface. This feature simplifies the opt-in and opt-out processes, making compliance less obtrusive and more woven into the mobile user experience.
Desktop users will see the cookie bar that the merchant set up initially, and the mobile users will see the AME. For the AME, we transferred solely the behaviour of the Accept button and the initial state of the cookie categories. In order to provide a smoother user experience on mobile, custom texts or other custom changes in design etc. are not supported.
How to Activate the Adaptive Mobile Experience
Activating the Adaptive Mobile Experience is straightforward and user-friendly, exclusively available for your Shopify store:
Step 1: Navigate to the Admin of the Consentmo App
Step 2: Head to the Adaptive mobile experience tab from the navigation menu. This is your gateway to enhanced mobile browsing.
Step 3:Turn On the Feature. Enjoy immediate improvements in mobile browsing, with settings customized to emulate the native feel of your mobile device’s operating system.
